For rectal use only. May cause rectal discomfort or a burning sensation. Ask a doctor before using any laxative if the child has abdominal pain, nausea, or vomiting. A sudden change in bowel habits lasting more than 2 weeks, or been using a laxative for more than 1 week. Stop using this product and consult a doctor if the child has rectal bleeding, no bowel movement after use. These symptoms may indicate a serious condition

Stop using this product and consult a doctor if the child has: rectal bleeding; no bowel movement after use. These symptoms may indicate a serious condition. Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away. Professional Use: Do not use in patients with congestive heart failure, clinically significant impairment of renal function, ascites, known or suspected gastrointestinal obstruction, megacolon (congenital or acquired) or imperforate anus. Use with caution in patients with impaired renal function or pre-existing electrolyte disturbances, or in patients on diuretics or other medications which may affect electrolyte levels or where colostomy exists. Since FLEET Enema contains sodium phosphates there is a risk of elevated serum levels of sodium and phosphate and decreased levels of calcium and potassium, and consequently hypernatremia, hyperphosphatemia, hypocalcemia, hypokalemia and acidosis may occur. This is of particular concern in children with megacolon or any other condition where there is retention of enema solution. Additional liquids by mouth are recommended.
