The Kumho Solus TA71 is a performance and high performance, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. Kumho offers a 60,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.

Kumho covers this tire model and size with its Road Hazard Warranty. This warranty is available for tires damaged by road hazards within the first 12 months after the purchase date, or until the first 3/32” of the tire tread wears away, whichever comes first! If this tire sustains road hazard damage (typically caused by nails, glass, or potholes) on its tread area, customers have a right to use the Road Hazard warranty for a Tire Replacement of an equivalent Kumho tire. To receive the Road Hazard warranty, customers with damaged tires must file a claim with Kumho Tires.

The model promotes excellent all weather traction, which is the result of the asymmetric tread design and nano-silica tire compound. The compound is extremely weather flexible and it provides great road grip even in colder temperatures, while the asymmetric tread design features tiny gripping edges on the angled snow sipes that boost the all season road gripping ability. The tire finds great grip on snow and ice-covered roads and ensures a safer driving experience. The four wide circumferential grooves effectively resist hydroplaning by eliminating water from beneath the tire footprint.

The tire's excellent handling and high speed performance are guaranteed with the tread design and internal structure. The tire's structure features twin steel belts reinforced with spirally wrapped nylon that maintain the tire's optimal shape throughout the drive. Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
