The Copper Saddles work to eliminate Sulphur during the refluxing actions, specifically at the top of the still while condensation is being formed. Ceramic Raschig Rings and Copper Mesh Roll are both used to pack the still and they work to remove impurities that would effect the refluxing actions from taking place. Ceramic Raschig Rings are perfect for things like oil that are not able to move very much. Copper Mesh Roll is better for more free flowing liquids, such as water, and is excellent in eliminating Sulphur compounds from forming as a result of the distilling process.
