A useful kitchen organizing accessory. Very attractive, dark stain finish - note that 'acacia' is the color of the stain, not the type of wood. Weight is good, stable but not too heavy. Relatively small footprint, although the knife handles add some depth.

If you are looking for a simple and functional design for a knife rack this is a good choice. I can fit 8 steak knives in addition to a few larger knives for carving etc in addition to storing a meat cutting scissor. The wood is hardwood and very well fastened together, the slots are of generous size and properly spaced apart and the entire block is not too large for my counter. Good workmanship color and reasonable price. Would highly recommend.
