Support Great! App needs work. Location bad.

Support gets a 5! I have had an issue my MS and they took my issues seriously! The MS requires Location to be turned on on your phone when you run the app. I do not like this. Support says that it is required to make the Bluetooth work correctly but I am unsold. My Bluetooth headset works just fine with it turned off. Further, it is doing Cloud Saves without specifically asking me. Beyond this I do not think the app follows the Law of Least Surprise. When you start the app it comes up to a blank Now Cooking page. What does this mean? What am I supposed to do next? Instead of a blank screen in place of this it should offer a suggestion as to what you might want to do: Please turn on your MeatStick or Use to add a new device. Once the app and cooking actually get started it's really cool!

Go with something else. 3 big reasons to stay away

First off the customer service is horrible. They are extremely slow to respond days/weeks when help is needed. Now for the bad news - You can only charge one probe at a time. If you want to charge all probes at the same time you have to purchase a $30 charger for each stick. If you lose connection to the probe you have to pull the probe from the meat and insert it into the charger to reconnect. This is a big pain in the ***. As you can imagine the probe is very hot. After you rangle the hot probe from the meat you have to let cool to handle, place into the charge to reconnect to the app and then place back into the meat. Huge problem!
