Each panel is skillfully woven from dried palm leaves that are secured by sturdy nylon string for lasting durability. The panels can be cut without unraveling and trimmed to any desired length and width to fit a variety of uses, such as palapa roof cover, tiki bar shade, palm leaf decor, house skirting, or roof thatch covering for a grass hut. Tahitian Thatch Panels are perfect thatch roof material to be used for palapa thatch roofing, thatch roofing for tiki bar, or tiki hut roof. Securing the thatch is easy, simply staple to any sub-surface or rafter and overlapping each layer. In order to achieve full coverage on your roofing structure, panels must overlap one another by at least 6 inches.
