Over the preceding six years, the singer had become firmly established as one of the island's most gifted singers, his elegant tenor gracing a series of popular 7" singles, primarily recorded at Duke Reid's famed Treasure Isle studio. Now, the popular 1974 collection - also released by Trojan Records in the UK as 'Jimmy Brown' - is finally available once more after almost half a century, with it's track-listing expanded to include the remainder of the vocalist's released work for Treasure Isle, along with those of his equally accomplished labelmate, Hopeton Lewis.
