Within the isolated world of private music teaching, one may appear obsessively concerned only with the welfare of his or her students; and yet we are always willing to bathe in the joy of their success. I have written about my own three seasons thus far: winter - the beginning years at the end of World War II; spring - an awakening during and following the Cold War years; summer - overture to fall towards the September of my own years.

And yes, the book title - "For all too soon" - has only one capital letter (revealed in the autumn season, "Summer's Memory").

I am quiet - noisy - hot - cool - a time for different things - a time to remember the coolness of winter, and to anticipate the new beginning ...
