Good backup heating during power outages

During the extreme cold in this area, this heater was providing heat in my home if the Grid power failed. This Heat Hog 9,000-18,000 BTU LP heater is capable of heating my home without Electric Grid Power. I purchased a brass adapter to replace the 1 pound LP cylinder with a LP gas line . With my modification any 100 pound , or 35 pound, or 20 pound LP cylinder can supply this heater. The brass adapter cost about $15-$20. Burning day and night 24 hours a day, a 100 pound cylinder will last about 3 weeks.

A little bit of a hiccup at trying to start it.Once I opened booklet on how to start it it was excellent. Heat Hog Rules when you're in need of heat Performance is Great so far. Don't know yet on how long fuel uses. Experimenting on hose adapter I purchased as well. I got 1-Gallon plus bought a 30lb tank.Can't wait too hook up heat Hog to 30llb bought. Will give a update on that.Heat Hog is the best portable heater ever purchased. Thanks.
