The installation is pretty easy if you're familiar with installing fans already. The instructions were fairly easy to follow. The fan part itself is kind of small, but works good. The remote is nice to have.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This chandelier ceiling fan hybrid is absolutely stunning. I have a very outdated sconce light in my bedroom and I get absolutely no circulation in that room. It creates a dusty and unpleasant temperature box rather than a place I want to rest. This Fandelight is everything I needed and more. Firstly, this came in the biggest box I have ever seen and I was worried it would weigh so much it might be too dangerous to hang as my ceiling is not vaulted in that room. After taking it out, I could hold it with one hand. The fan itself is more of a piece of art than a ceiling fan. The matte finish is gorgeous. And it looks futuristic while being a simple piece. Certainly a conversation starter. Everything you need comes in a small kit that comes in the bigger box down to a pair of white gloves if you want to avoid fingerprints. I am not an electrician so I hired a friend who is to install this for me. He simply took the existing sconce down, drilled in the accompanying bracket that is made for ceiling fan installs, and got this up and running in about 30 minutes. There is a box that is included that is to be hidden inside the canopy that has an antenna for wifi and electrical connectors. It also connects to a remote which is also included. The remote has a holder which is magnetic that allows you to have a safe place to store the remote which is small. I love that detail. The wires are a lot considering if is a smart fan/light so getting it wedged into the housing was a bit trickier than an average fan but it took less than 5 minutes to get it housed. The length of the rod is long. I do duck out of the newness of the fan being in the room but it is certainly clearable. I am 5'7 for reference but regular ceiling height rooms will make this difficult if you are much taller. I am not totally sure if that is adjustable. I imagine you could possibly swap it out for a shorter piece but I am not totally sure about that. After install, it was a quick push of the remote and the fan was whirring away. The lights are LED and look out of this world. Somewhat like a spaceship but in a fun way. It's funny because while it is an incredibly different design than I have ever seen it is still right at home in my design taste. The lights are very bright and can be controlled through an app or the remote. I prefer low lighting and mostly use it for the fan which can be used together or separately from the light. The remote allows you to power off, turn down the air, and shut off the light. It's a terrific piece, It has allowed my room to have moving air which is wonderful. It's almost silent and doesn't move an inch. The blades are gently protected within the infinity cage of lighting. Such a gorgeous and fun piece. Highly recommend! Very easy install.
