Sometimes the unexpected happens. No matter how unlikely, or even impossible, the unexpected event may be, it has to be dealt with.In these stories, people face some very bizarre circumstances. Sometimes they cope successfully, and sometimes they fail to cope.Some of these stories are broadly comic, while others are quite serious. Most are somewhere in between. I'll leave it to the individual reader to determine which is which.As the author, I am very proud of these stories. I enjoyed writing them and I enjoy re-reading them.
