Cosmetically blemished Berkey® systems come with the samewarrantied Black Berkey® Purification Elements that have made Berkey® byNMCL the leader in the industry.
Blemished Berkey® systems are identified by a distinctive “B” stamped onthe upper and lower stainless steel chambers, which indicates that thechambers ARE NOT warrantied against cosmetic defects. However, theBlack Berkey® Purification Elements carry the standard 2-yearpro-rated limited warranty, which provides you with the same performance and longevity that youwould experience with any of our non-blemished Berkey® systems.
The compact Travel Berkey® System is the perfect system for traveling(fits comfortably in most carry on or larger suitcases), outdooractivities, and during unexpected emergencies.

Excellent choice for a Water filter system
I have found no blemishes at all on this. I was leery of purchasing a blemished product but am glad I did. It took me a while to get used to refilling on a daily basis. (We have to drink bottled water where I live and I hate the plastic waste. I've been buying bottles for a while but now I can put an end to that. The water tastes fine after filtering. I'm a Science teacher but all my water testing supplies are locked in our school with the COVID stuff so I will check the water quality when I'm able to go back for supplies. When I go to our summer camping spot I'm going to start taking this. We ran out of water last time and the kids were filling up bottles from a natural spring and drinking that. I told them to use the filter straw first or the water I had reserved just for drinking and to use the spring water for washing...but you know kids. So I will be taking this with us in the future. It's small enough and fits together so it doesn't take up much more room that a gallon of water anyway...that way, we never have to worry about running out of water again. So far, I have nothing negative to say. I was going to buy a larger one but I'm now glad I got the travel size. Perfect for me.

I have a Royal Berkey 3.5 gallon and haves loved it! We needed water filtration for our RV and of course we chose another Berkey bc they are simply the best! Saw this scratch and dent Travel Berkey at 60.00 less than retail. Took a chance. SCORE!! Perfect condition! Wheres the flaw???
