Better than my initial disappointment

When I first got this, I was so upset at how ugly I perceived the beige part of this to be. The beige in this has a pinkish undertone so I wasn't sure how well it would go in my room. The beige I recently painted my walls is more brownish. However, now that I have my room completely redecorated I am happy with how it turned out. There is only one spot on the comforter where the thread is not connected in the pattern, but it's not noticeable unless you're looking for issues. To me, the comforter is lightweight. I currently have an electric blanket and a wool blanket under the comforter, but in the summer just the comforter should be fine. The navy blue sheets you see in my picture do not come with the comforter set, but I did buy also buy those on Walmart's website. I have not washed it yet so I'm not sure how well it will hold up in the wash, but based on my use of it so far I don't expect any problems as long as I wash it on the gentle cycle.
