I would buy this product again

I have three model A Fords and get stressed out when I have to deal with the battery under the floor board. I had been contemplating moving them out under the hood for easier maintenance but needed some sort of shelf ready made, I bought one and it was PERFECT so ordered two more and they are all installed now and I'm truly satisfied. Great Battery Box

This weld-in unit will save a me time and was a very good price. The quality is excellent and much better than what I would have scabbed together on my own. The battery for this project will sit perfectly and safely between the frame rails with no worries.

A battery box for a 180 mph car

The battery box purchased is being welded into the firewall of a 1965 ROVER P5, which was never sold in this country. A sedan with an original 3.0-liter F-head engine, ROVER has found recently that she has acquired a 3.0-Liter BMW N55 engine with direct-injection fuel system and 0.9 atmosphere turbocharger; 392 HP. With this engine under the hood, there was precious little room for the OPTIMA battery. The weldable battery box for SPEEDWAY was the answer. By cutting the firewall creatively, the battery box fits nicely at the right-front. ROVER is in Vermont. The end of the line to drive ROVER when she first runs is forming up around Cleveland.
