Firstly, I will recommend this case to anyone. I am an outdoor rock climber and my phone takes a beating but remains intact because of UAG. Secondly, this is my second time buying, because as the title says my phone actually exploded, remained on fire for nearly 5 minutes before extinguishing the battery and the case remained intact,damaged a bit from the fire but as I said it survived an explosion. The reason for replacement is the rubber melted sides, and hazardous battery material.
