The fan is great, but I also used the install option and the installation company they used is terrible. I opted for the instal because my ceiling is 18ft high. The first guy called me and told me that he couldn't do it, but if I rented some scaffolding he could do it. This is exactly what I was trying to avoid. I went back to the installation company (Angie's list) and told them the ceiling is 18 ft. The next guy texted me the day of the appointment and and asked how tall the ceiling is, I responded 18 ft. He came in, with a small step ladder, and immediately said he can't do it the ceiling is to tall. I finally decided to just do it myself, and cancel the instal. When I spoke to the angi's list representative she told me that she would only refund me 50% because the installer spent his time coming and trying to instal the fan. After arguing with her for longer than the installer was in my house she finally agreed to refund 100%. Buyer beware of using Angie's list for tall ceilings
