We bought this to replace our soft top gazebo that collapsed last year. It definitely takes more than 1 person, 3 preferably. Me and my fiancé put this together ourselves so it is doable. Although the manual could use a little more detail as it was a little confusing, especially when we went to put the roof together. The next day it rained and we noticed leaks in the center because we put it together wrong. We had to take apart the middle roof sections and redo it (THEY OVERLAP! this will help you! lol). It's perfectly fine now, no leaks! Very sturdy and nice quality! I would definitely recommend! :)

pretty but light weight

putting it together wasn't that easy but not impossible. I was giving instructions and husband and father-in-law were helping. The roof is not as firm ( light laminate) as it looks and the whole structure is very light weight. But looks great by our pool. We may add cement to the legs just to put some weight in it.
