Brabantia Trash Can Newicon, 8 Gallon / 30L Clay Pink

Frankly, I do not usually waste my time on reviewing things I buy. However, this is a truly marvellous bin. Having spent the last few years with a bin you had to open with your hand which, as a result, you couldn't scrape food into, then with a bin with a foot pedal so badly made that it broke in less than a year, I marvel at the wondrousness of this bin. It has a lovely, smooth opening foot pedal, it doesn't travel across the floor when opened, you can put the bags in and there really is "no unsightly overhang", it has a lovely, slow closing action. And, it was no more expensive than the last rubbish (in both senses of the word) bin I bought. And, best of all, it's yellow! And it was in stock! I bow down in wonder at its all round loveliness!

This is a really high quality bin. It is very smart looking, stylish, lovely finish, hopefully won't show fingermarks too much. I bought 30L Almond, which is perfect for a family of 4 for everyday rubbish bin. The enclosed bags fit very neatly, and the inner plastic bucket has a series of vents near the base to stop a vacuum forming. The bin opens with the lightest of pressure on the pedal and the lid is damped, so it has a soft close, also it does not let out any smell. Bin has a carrying handle which is very cleverly designed and grips well. This is a high quality bin and it comes with a 10 year warranty which is brilliant. I would highly recommend this BIN.
