LG 28 cu ft. Smart Double Freezer Refrigerator with Craft Ice(TM) - LRMXS2806S

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this fridge because of "Craft Ice" and the double freezer doors. The double freezer door makes it easy to grab the craft ice, provides separation and organization of the freezer, and is much easier to pull out as items are distributed across two drawers. The regular ice maker is fast but with smaller cubes. Currently I have the craft ice set for 6 per day as the clarity isn't as important to me as production, so I can't speak to the 3 per day setting. It is nice to have the ice dispenser within the door, and to have the small storage bins available. The french door hinges and mullion are smoother than my previous fridge. The fingerprint surface is much improved as well. Wish it showed the inside temperatures (instead of the set temps) and two evaporators (though with the fresh air filter I haven't noticed any cross smells from fridge to freezer craft ice).

I bought this about a month a go to replace a KitchenAid that had an unrepairable ice maker. Shopped around for several manufacturers and price points and came upon LG as the winner. Larger than the old fridge offering more freezer space with the pullout drawers..
