These bulbs are the simplest to connect to Alexa

Most smart bulbs are a pain to connect to our home lighting system via Alexa, having to download and sign up for third party apps and register the bulbs (and then remember which apps they connect with when you have a problem down the line.) But these couldn't be simpler. All you need is your Alexa app. Just a put the bulb in your lamp or light fixture, turn it on, and tell Alexa to “find new devices” and voila! There it is in your Alexa app where you can rename it if you like. I was adding my bulb to the Living room lamp, to replace another brand bulb that had burned out. I deleted the old Living room bulb from my Alexa app and named this with the same name. It took about 2 minutes. Then I added this Living room bulb to a few of my routines, to turn on and off automatically at certain times. So easy! Love these bulbs! I also like the soft white color of the light. They look pretty much like the old fashioned incandescent bulbs, a nice warm color, not the stark bluish white of some bulbs. They are dimmable, so I can just say, “Alexa, dim the living room light to 70% or 50% or 20%” or when I go to bed at night, I say, “Alexa, good night” and she turns off all of the lights in the room. How cool is that? This saves even more electricity over the already very little amount they already use. Smart bulbs are the only way to go.
