Great for work and school

It is a great work laptop for the price. I also do continued learning and it is great for these application and low memory games. Yes it does say 20 gig but 16 gig is a cache memory which works as a bridge between RAM and storage. This allows for quicker data transfer between the memory, storage, and processor. If it had 8 gig (vs 4) plus the 16 gig chip, it would be perfect.

Lenovo's been good to me!

Great value! Still going. I gave it to my daughter. Must be good, she abuse everything. But this is the 4th Lenovo laptop I've bought. Never had any problems with any. Just sell the old and update now and then. I do have a Dell Inspiron, but it's touch screen and was over priced. Not any faster. But I install 12gig of memory in all the laptops I've bought. Anybody with any sense should do this.

Great deal for what it's capable of!

Great laptop for the price. It can stand most functions. The design is really nice; I like how it looks. I haven't been using this laptop for that long, but so far it has had no trouble handling hi definition videos on YouTube, and it has very little lag performing under multiple tabs on browser. If you're looking for a laptop under 500, I definitely recommend this model. The only complaint I have about it is the not so elite screen resolution. You can definitely notice that the display is not as sharp as the more expensive PCs and macs are capable of, but perhaps I'm nitpicking too much on an inexpensive model like this.
