Mark Alan Women's Plus Size Single-Breasted Belted Peacoat

I loved the plum color. I am not a big fan of a coat with no buttons and a belt but I thought I would take a chance and update my look. I too thought this had an awkward fit. I tried both the XL and 1X and they seemed to lift up in the pockets. The 1X made a tiny noise when on. I thought I may have put a fingernail through the pocket lining. As I pulled the jacket up, I realized the pockets have a long stitch connecting them to the coat. I snipped one of them with scissors and instant flat pocket. Other side, same thing. So if you want the coat, do this. It makes all the difference and it is probably to make it hang up better like sewn up pockets with flaps. At the price, the plum color is really worth it. It is hard to find purple coats and size up if you have small arms or shoulders.
