Not being 20-something any longer I really don't care to wear my jeans at or below my hips especially as I actually work in them now and then. The higher rise in these jeans is perfect for allowing me to full movement without having to constantly pull them up. And my size in these unlined jeans is exactly the same size for the lined version of them in case anyone wonders.
