Good little water heater

I believe I have had this water heater for two years before it actually broke down and thank goodness for the 31 year warranty. Was without hot water for almost a week and when my contractor went to get the replacement it had to be order and there were non in stock. when it is functioning properly there is nothing better, but can figure out why it broke down after just two years.

ATO-110U 200, External Tankless Water Heater

This unit was a free warranty replacement for my last Takagi Tankless unit which was installed in the summer of 2016. This new unit works great, overall its quieter than the last unit and it seems to heat up the water a bit faster than the previous two tankless water heaters. However I can hear a certain faint mechanic sound when it initially turns on from inside the house but nothing major but something I couldn't hear with the other two Takagi tankless units I previously had. Regardless this unit works great and I laugh at all the neighbors who brag about spending 3 to 4 times more on their Rinaai tankless water heaters!

Heats water!

I live in Hawaii. I bought my 140,000 BTU AO Smith water heater about two years ago and finally got around to installing it to heat my pool. I've been using the one on my house all this time and couldn't use the hot water in the house while I was heating the pool. Now I can. Installation was easy, even the conversion to propane.
