Love these. Martha knows what she's talking about. I had several nozzles that I purchased from local HW store, but they always broke/leaked. Every year I was buying new ones. I decided to try these old style ones, which I remembered using when I was a kid. they are great! I like that I don't have to hold down a lever to make the water come up, and that I can stick the nozzle right into the bushes to water at the root level, which was clumsy to do with a bigger nozzle or wand. The only downside is that you can't really adjust the pressue to water seedlings for example. If you open them up just a little bit, they emit a very wide spray. So I have to use my hand to take the full force of the water and redirect it in a trickle onto my seedlings.
