Early treatment ensures the best results. Rub in gently but completely. Use 5 times a day until healed. Children under 12 years: ask a doctor.

For external use only. When using this product, apply only to the affected areas. Do not use in or near the eyes. Avoid applying directly inside your mouth. Do not share this product with anyone, as this may spread the infection. Do not use if you are allergic to any ingredient in this product. Effective, and for less money
Equate brand is fever blister treatment is just as effective as the higher priced Abreva. Apparently the same active ingredient. It's a small tube for a seemingly high price, but it's well worth the money, because if I use this Docosanol a couple of times the first day I find a fever blister it's gone that day and I have a supply for the next time.
