This ring is truly beautiful. Virtually every visible surface of the ring is decorated. The top surfaces of the rings have sparkling gems, and the the sides and lower portion of the ring are decorated with intricate and pronounced scroll that wraps nearly to the bottom of the ring, so not very much "bare metal" visible at all. Only the underside portion of the ring, where it would be on the palm-side of your hand, is smooth metal, where it should be smooth. The moissanite gemstone is amazing! It is brilliantly sparkly! It's just a beautiful ring! I researched this type of gem and knew that it is nearly as hard as a diamond and potentially even more "fiery." When you see it in person, it is just incredible. I receive compliments all the time! My ring also came with a GRA report showing the grade, size, and unique characteristics of my moissanite gemstone. It's a folded, thick certificate in a really nice gold envelope, so I can store information about this purchase together in this envelope and find it easily.
