Pretty Fall Color

I only like to drink from glass; not plastic, so was happy to find these. These glasses are quite pretty with their clear amber color. They have a pedestal bottom which is a little smaller than the top part but it still feels sturdy and safe from tipping over. The pedestal actually makes this glass very easy to hold. Very streamlined. Looks both traditional and modern.

Great All Around Glass

My husband immediately took this glass as his favorite go to glass for happy hour. :) The color is a really nice shade of amber and it's the perfect glass for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The glass does not appear to be 17 ounces due to the design which is very easy to pick up, take a sip and place back on the table without fear of spilling the beverage. We love the glass!

Easy to handle

At first, I wasn't super impressed. I liked the amber color, but it just sort of seemed like a regular glass. Then I picked it up; substantial, but not too heavy. That's good. When I filled it up and began to drink, I realized the value of the pedestal was not so much about looks, but it makes it easier to hold on to. I'm forever breaking glasses, they just slip out of my hand, but the design allows me to get a perfect grip on the glass and keeps it from slipping, even with condensation. I also like the wide mouth and thin rim, which makes it easy to sip from. It actually has somewhat of a retro look. I remember having something similar in the 70s. This would be great for beer, too.
