This Moment

Janene Lovullo's first solo album, This Moment, is a collaboration of some of the industry's great musical talents. It was engineered by Academy and Emmy Award-nominated score mixer Dan Wallin; orchestrated by Tim Simonec, conductor and orchestrator to the 2010 Academy Award-winning score for Disney/Pixar's UP; and was mastered at the Mastering Lab in Ojai, California by multiple Grammy Award winner Doug Saks. The album was originally intended to be a piano/vocal piece with arranger and music director Christopher Marlowe, whose impressive resume includes an 11-year association with the late Nancy LaMott. quot;I wanted This Moment to have the feel of a symphonic masterpiece,quot; says Janene. quot;My music director, Chris Marlowe, and I chose material from all the greatest composers we loved, from operetta, music theater, art song and The Great American Songbook. Then Chris took many of these songs and brilliantly arranged them so that the listener might hear and rediscover these songs in a new and creative way.quot; Janene extensive musical theater career includes Broadway credits Grisabella in 'CATS', Fantine in 'Les Miserables' and Mabel in 'Pirates of Penzance'.
