When I received this lamp it was in the very compact box! I thought that there was no way a lampshade was in there. I read the directions and saw the lampshade “ roll” and two rings that would form the actual shade. I didn't expect much and was already angry that I'd probably have to return it! Well, I was pleasantly surprised! Actually impressed with the lease of making this lampshade! It worked so well!! So if u get this lamp don't panic! You'll have it all assembled in 15 min or less and a fine looking shade! Another nice feature ( and one that inclined me to buy it ) is the two types of lighting in one lamp! They have individual switches so can be used simultaneously or separately. The top light is not very bright . I think 60 w and the “ lantern” light is an Edison bulb( both included) and it's a three way switch! Very nice feature in a lamp at this price! I paid $57! Very happy
