I am very impressed with this dough hook. It is very sturdy and large enough to hold securely in the hand while handling sticky dough. After a short soak in the water, it cleaned up very easily and after the washing, it looked as good as new. The wood is smooth and appears to be of good quality. The dough hook itself does the job beautifully and makes an easy task of thoroughly and smoothly mixing a sticky dough. This will make my bread baking much easier from now on. And to get two of these hooks for such a wonderful price was a huge bonus.

I'm a little bit concerned about washing this wrong as I don't want to introduce water into the wood where the metal is screwed in, but other than that, this 2 piece package is pretty amazing. I have never seen a bread whisk like this. I read a few reviews, and I figured why not for the price. I just got them in and had to try them immediately. I made a lemon cake and buttermilk biscuits. Everything, including the ingredients, pans, plates, etc. came from Walmart. Anyway, I was expecting good results, but me being a first time user of this type of whisk, I didn't expect this good of results. It's as if the whisk gods had this design in their heads and popped them out.
