Great drives

This drive is my 3rd drive. The speed, ease of configuration and RAID options. The drive is quiet as it can be given it is a spin drive. I have the 3 drives set up in different configuration and syncing to each other to take advantage of the thunderbolt speed.

Nervous About Losing Everything To Hacking

It's great so far. I have been transferring all of my files to it and it is very fast. I am, however, really scared to plug it into the internet. I don't want it to get hacked and all my stuff deleted. The whole purpose of me getting this was to be able to access files on it from wherever I am at. I am now not sure it is worth the risk of everything getting deleted by me using it how I wanted to use it.

reply from Supplier Response

Hi Martin, Thank you for reaching out, and I do apologize for any issues you may be having. Our G-RAID Thunderbolt 3 does not have the ability to connect to the Internet. If you did want to set this up, you would need to connect the drive to a router or another device that does have internet capabilities. We would recommend consulting the router manufacturer, or the device you connect the G-RAID to for further information on how secure and safe doing this may be.
