This is the perfect tripod for a cell phone. I purchased this to take group family photos. It worked great this summer at gatherings. I am very impressed with the flexible legs that can bend to stand on uneven surfaces or bend around tree limbs. So this stand works well if taking photos outside. There are two different types of phone holders that come with the stand. It also has adjustable knobs to level your phone to the ideal position to take photos. This also works well for FaceTime or tele-health conversations.
