Home Soft Things 3 Piece Washed Cotton Duvet Cover Set - Windowpane - Camel - King (102" x 90")

I came across this washed 100% cotton duvet set sold by Home Soft Things on Walmart.com for a great price so I figured it was at least worth a try. It arrived folded neatly and felt more substantial than I expected, I was a little skeptical at first because sometimes cotton can feel thin, but right away it felt like a good purchase once I got it out of the packaging. The fact that it is 100% cotton also felt like a nice upgrade compared to some of the blends I have tried before. I put it on our king bed the same day and it took maybe 10 minutes start to finish including swapping out the old cover and getting the corners lined up, and once I had it on I kept adjusting it a bit because I wanted to see how it would sit after a full fluff and it settled in nicely. One thing I really like is the zipper closure, it is a big upgrade from the standard buttons most covers use and made getting everything in place quicker and a lot less frustrating. The sizing was accurate for our 102 x 90 insert and I did not have to wrestle with it to make it fit, which is usually where things go sideways with duvet covers. I notice the fabric has that slightly broken-in feel right away, not overly soft like microfiber but more of a natural cotton feel that seems like it will get better with washing. The cherry buffalo pattern stands out without being too loud. I swapped this on the evening it arrived when I was already doing laundry and straightening up the house, and it kind of turned into one of those small upgrades that makes the whole room feel different without changing anything else. Even my dog made a point to circle a few extra times before settling in, which is usually a good sign around here. For the price and overall feel, this set does exactly what I wanted it to do which is give the bed a clean updated look without a lot of fuss. If this one ever wears out I would buy another. It has been easy to live with day to day and fits right into a normal routine.
