Last year I was involved in an accident that left me with a severe ankle injury...six broken bones,, and an open fracture..two operations. I developed some foot issues also. These are the only shoes I can wear that allows me to continue my outdoor activities.. Fishing...long walks. I can stand for a longer time while fishing in my boat... I highly recommend these shoes if you have foot or ankle problems.

Love my Merrells

I love my Merrells. I live in these and replace them every 6 months or so. They fit my narrow foot, offer great support, are very comfortable and function for general knock around shoes as well as serious walking shoes. My only complaint is that the tread picks up gravel, which I tend to track into the house, but not much to be done about that other than wiping your feet.

This is my second pair of these shoes, and I only needed them to keep my professional look at work. My first pair are still going strong as work shoes for around the shop, but it took two years and many city and country miles to get there.
