I use my tevas from everything from wearing around the house to hiking. While the sole is thinner than that of my chacos the flexibility and comfortablility is better and the grip is the the same if not better. While I am fans of both brands my Tevas remind me each time I put them on my foot that support with the right amount of cushion is a must for anything strapped to you foot for more than a few hours. Price is definitely an upside too, doesnt break the bank.

Excellent sandal

I use this sandal as a casual shoe in NYC. It stands up well to walking quickly outdoors and going up and down the subway steps. It performs well in the rain as well- despite a slight feeling of your foot slipping when the sandal is wet, the straps do a good job of keeping your foot secure. Definitely a better rain option than flip flops in the summer.

These are great sandals. I have two pair and wear them everyday, most days of the year. I had a to return a pair once and Teva was great about the return, no questions asked. I'm tempted to buy extra pairs in case they discontinue them or change the simplicity of these well built sandals.
