Very versatile, comfy, warm boots

Based on reviews I ordered a half size down from my usual size 7 and the 6.5 boots fit perfectly. I decided on these boots because of the versatile shaft - the slits on either side, work nicely with ankle jeans, the boots also work with wider leg, longer jeans, and they are perfect with leggings and a jean skirt. I also like the gray color, and the boots are comfy and warm for mild California winter weather.

These Lukees are great. The lug sole and heel are strong for safe winter weather walking. They have a very special lining and it's exactly what I was looking for. It's smooth and silky allowing your foot to glide effortlesly into the foot of the boot. It's a boot designed to be worn year round. A big plus. Another great feature is the inside zipper design. Short and easy to use. The best design is the open/flaired area just above the zipper which is roomy around your leg. I'll purchase another pair in black.
