Weldental Chewtab toothpaste tablets are silica free. Xylitol is a 5 carbon sweetener that starves plaque and acid-producing bacteria while it nourishes beneficial bacteria. With regular use your saliva will become alkaline and plaque will be minimized. Xylitol when combined with Calcium Phosphate also helps remineralize enamel. The foaming ingredient in most toothpaste is Sodium Laurel Sulfate (SLS). SLS has a soapy taste and often creates inflammation.
