Reliable battery and smooth installation.

I picked up this EverStart battery for our van and was happy with how easy the whole process was. The price was good, and Walmart installed it for me quickly and correctly, which I appreciate after having other shops mess things up in the past. EverStart batteries have always held up well for us, and I don't see any reason this one will be different. It has strong cranking power, and I feel better knowing it's ready for the cold Kentucky winter ahead. The van starts right up, no hesitation, and everything was handled professionally at the auto care center. It's a solid battery with good service behind it, and that gives me peace of mind. Adding this in case someone else is debating between this and a higher priced brand.

Good value

Good quality battery, but Walmart customer service was lacking. I purchased the battery online and picked up at the store. Tried to return my old battery at the store to get refund for the $12 core fee. No one at the store knew how to handle and I got the run around, without any resolution. I ended up calling Walmart.com and told the of the issue and they promptly issue me a promo cold for the $12 core fee.

If you bought your battery in a Walmart store, you could get the core fee refunded right away when you bring the old battery (the core) with you. If you didn’t have the core at the time, you can bring it back later with your receipt to get your refund. For batteries bought online, whether by delivery or curbside—the core fee will be refunded as a gift card after you return the old battery to the store. The store team can start the return using the returns tab, choose the non-receipted returns option, and then scan or enter this UPC: 19434621915. If the store has an issue please show them one of these reviews. We recommend returning cores from online orders at stores with an Auto Care Center, since they’re more familiar with the core return process and can help make it smoother. SM-Clarios
