Great for 2D games
Works perfectly for what it's intended for. It says right on the picture it is for handheld mode only, and the description says so as well. The D-pad is excellent for 2D games, much better than the original buttons. It will NOT work detached from the Switch, but again it says that on the picture and the description.

Not what I wanted...
It's not advertised in the description unless it's been updated since my purchase but this controller WILL NOT work unless connected to the switch. No Bluetooth, no motion controls and cannot turn the system on (but can wake it up). Pretty much worthless considering I was getting these for smash bros parties....
