Bright!!!
Wow! These are some very bright lights. What a difference! My garage and shop have never been this lit-up. It was not too hard to convert my old fluorescent fixtures (remove ballast, wire-nut the wires together) and install LED bulbs. If I were to order again I would get the frosted instead of clear. It's been a few weeks and we really like these lights a lot.

These 4 LED replaced our old 4 fluorescent tube lights
We were unable to purchase an updated "drop in" ceiling type fixture. So, my husband didn't want to completely change the existing fixture as he hates to repair drywall in a popcorn ceiling! So we hired and electrician to replace the two old balasts and fluorescent lights with two new eBalasts that worked with these LED lights. This just cost us the price of two new eBalasts and the four LED lights and the electrician's fee .We are glad we did this and the kitchen is much brighter.This was easy for the electrician to install!

Amazing light!
It takes a bit of effort to install these as a retrofit, but the light and energy saving are well worth the trouble. Be sure to look up how to install them before ordering. You need to do some very basic wiring. I found that one bulb was enough to replace two old bulbs--light wise. Less wattage on the bulb, and there is no longer a ballast involved... A bit of a pain, but I am going to keep replacing my old units.
