I have had a garmin HR, so I knew I wanted to get another garmin. I choose the venu sq. Sam's offered an instant savings which was a bonus. I studied the users manual prior to ordering. When i received it, i charged and it only took maybe an hour. (Charges really fast always) I love that you can change the watch face screen. You can also go to connect IQ store and download other free watch faces screens and activities. I have noticed if i keep the time on constant the battery drains quicker. I can adjust the brightness on the screen to help save battery life as well. I like that I can see time, steps, date, and seconds all on one screen. And I can see my activities, pulse ox, HR, and alerts me to move. I can see messages and do quick reply right from my watch. Most importantly it is waterproof. I shower, swim and wash my hands/watch frequently. I love the activity download hike2+ from connect IQ. It actually shows everything including the map of where you walked and even tells you when you are close to your starting point. You can add way points. My only complaint is that the treadmill activity says treadmill running, I'm not a runner but I do walk alot on a treadmill. I would recommend this watch. I know not everyone will love it like me but if you give it a chance you and study on how to work it, you will find it does most everything you need. Oh yeah i forgot to mention that I can listen to Spotify. Fast forward, rewind and pause from my Garmin.

Great features, great value!
I use it to monitor my heart rate while exercising and at rest and while sleeping because I had an aortic valve replacement. I appreciate how I am able to see in real time what my heart rate is doing while I jog at different paces. The price of the watch was very low compared to other space watches. Also like its size (not too big or bulky; not too small that I can't read the digits displayed) and how it looks on my wrist.
