Vacuum bags no good

The other storage back is great. The inner bags for vacuum is no good. Will not hold and as soon as vacuum is removed it no longer is a space saver. Am I missing something here, where is the piece it keep it sealed? I gave it three stars for the outer bag, which is very beautiful.
