Interceptor Men's Wyatt 6" Soft Toe Tactical Boots

Require a bit of break in, unlike the other interceptor boots I bought. But they are comfortable. Something I have seen with all of the interceptor boots is they separate at the nylon vent areas from the leather sections after a couple of months of use. They can be repaired using kiwi shoe goo and used for a bit longer, but they will eventually have a hole there. Still useable, but the water proof-ness will be gone. Still, I like them, the price is great and I will buy another pair as these wear out.

Purchased primarily for day to day house tasks as well as home renovation projects from time to time. Was looking for a boot that had a less aggressive tread on the outer sole to minimize tracking dirt inside, and that was lighter, more maneuverable and softer to walk in than typical boots but that also wouldn't break the bank. So far these are pretty solid. Can install tile or work in tight spaces up in the attic where boot grip is important and still not have to change into sneakers to take the dog for a walk at the end of a long day. Can mow the lawn or replace irrigation and not track nearly as much grass or mud inside during breaks. Not waterproof and sand sometimes gets inside a little easier than desired but all the other pluses make it worth it. Almost seems like a basket ball shoe but doesn'tmake you feel like you're back in grade school when wearing it and not playing a pickup game. Obviously other people feel the same way because the most common mens sizes were sold out across 4 Central FL area stores before I caved in and went online. Look, I don't work construction but Ive worked these boots pretty decent the past 5 months for being Walmart boots (tile work, attic, roof, irrigation system, landscaping) and they're not separating anywhere yet so thats pretty good, considering theyre Walmart boots! If you're not in the market for another big, clunky pair of work boots but you want something to beat up on with home projects while protecting your ankles more than just using your old gym sneakers, these are a very solid option.
