Item seems to be well made. And compact enough.

There were very little instructions we had to piece it together by looking at the picture and it's not as sturdy as I had hoped although the weight limit says I believe 350 lbs for Top bunk. So if that is correct then I'm sure there will be no problems. Also, there are plenty of extra screws just incase one gets stripped or the threads get messed up. And it looks pretty nice so far. We had to get bigger beds for our kids they are now teens and the twins aren't big enough now. This seems like a pretty decent quality product and we are excited to see how they hold up. Will update if any issues arise. Top bunk top rail comes up to about light switch height. Pictures aren't great because the room is small ( the reason bunk beds were important. Can't wait to get house finished and see what they look like with the new paint and of course sheets and blankets. Also the bottom bunk sits right on the floor basically. Perfect for shorter ceilings. Top bunk teen can sit straight up and not come close to head hitting ceiling. She is about 5'2”.

Love the height of the beds, easy to assemble (at some parts it's easier with two people), used a drill instead of the tool provided much faster, sturdy so far, only thing I'm going to add to it is some kind of padding to the ladder steps. Overall we're super pleased. Love the simplicity of the bed.
