Mangar Bathing Cushion with Compressor 17.5 X 23 X 15.8 Inch 1 Each

Please be aware if you tub has a textured bottom the suctions pads may not work. I made sure it would work before purchasing by using a suction hand rail I use on my shower before ordering. I have an oversized tub oval and was afraid it might not work but was pleased to find it worked great. First soaking bath I have had in years and had no trouble getting out of the tub using the Mangar bath pillows. I will update again after using for a couple of months. 1st try went well.

Im a 70 year old woman, 315lbs. I’ve been using a plastic hard AcquaJoy Bath Lift for years. But it broke so I saw this and thought it would be better. I was a little leery of it taking my weight and lifting me but I am very pleasantly surprised. The AquaJoy was so long that I had to raise my leg very high to get over it to step into the bathtub. It left only about 12 inches of space from the end of the chair to the end of the bathtub. I have a tall Jacuzzi bathtub. I had read the reviews that said the suction cups didn’t work and trying to get out the cushions slid from side to side etc. I am surprised because the suction cups on the bottom are very big 4 inch heavy duty suction cups. These are not the little thin plastic guys that were on my chair lift. I just stepped into the tub like i normally would. I sat on the chair which is as wide as my bathtub so I didn’t feel like it was going to sway. Turned on the water. At this point I was dry so I kind of stuck to the plastic so there was no fear of slipping. It went all the way to the bottom of the tub which I hadn’t been in 15 years. The cushion on the back deflated as much as I wanted to for a nice comfortable rest. After Ibathed I went to raise the cushion up. The back cushion fills up first and fast and had a little bit of a tendency to want to push me off the seat. But my feet can touch the other end of my bathtub so I just kept my legs straight and stayed on the seat. Once it was fully inflated It was a little lower than I would like as far as ease of jumping up but I have a handle on the wall next to my bath and it was fairly easy to get up. Again easier to step out because there was no piece of furniture in my way. The AquaJoy is very heavy so it was never lifted out of the tub for cleaning. The Mangar is 4lbs with a handle. I can carry it easily even on vacation. Plus other family members can take it out when they bathe. I wish i had bought this years ago. The bottom of my tub is not shinny porcelain it has a little mottled texture but the suction cups seemed to hold. Taking a bath is no longer a scary thing
