This was a great deal... solid computer for the price. Works perfect, no problems. Don't expect to game on it, but aside from that, it works for most other things you want a basic laptop to do. I upgraded to 20GB memory with 16GB RAM. Though small SSD, it has space for 2.5" additional drive as well.

Great for the money

Great looking. It sets up easily. I like Windows 11 so far. I was able to set up the windows security fairly easily. Lots of bloatware, but not more than any other laptop out there. I was able to easily uninstall everything I didn't want--except, of course Amazon.... It is very fast, to me. But, I only use it for work. I'm not a gamer. I read some complaints about the cooling fan noise. Those people must have much better ears than me. Plenty of ports also. Our office has ethernet as well as wifi. This laptop has a connector for the cable, so I can use either. This Aspire has 4 USB ports, so I don't need a hub. There is no SD card reader, but I guess those are going the way of floppy drives. With Windows 11, and an 11th gen i5 processor running at over 2Ghz, I feel like I've purchased new enough technology that it will do what I need it to for several years before becoming obsolete.
