This is a great, sturdy firewood holder. No need for a flimsy separate fireplace-tool-set stand, and if you buy a box of fatwood (as I did), it fits perfectly on the bottom shelf! Doesn't take up a lot of room. Sits on one side of my fireplace, with space to spare. Keeps firewood, starter logs, and fatwood all together and right at hand.

We really enjoy our wood burning fireplace and use it often. We have a large firewood log rack in our garage. It has been great to have, but it's way too big for the living room. We were gifted the metal basket looking thing to put by the fireplace. While it was pretty, it only held maybe 4 or 5 pieces of wood, so it wasn't practical. We ended up using a box, which was kind of ugly looking, until we found a holder we liked and fit the space. That's where this log rack comes into play. It is 16 inches wide, 12 inches deep, and 29 inches tall. It has a shelf, which is great, because we can put the standard wood on the top larger portion and the specialty wood or starters on the smaller bottom section. It's a wrought iron with a black painting treatment on it to help prevent rust. There are 2 hooks on either side to hold the 4 tools that it comes with. The poker, brush, tongs, and shovel. We haven't used those yet, as we have a set, but it's nice to have a backup that's sort of tucked away into the design. It was straightforward and easy to assemble. It can be used indoors or outdoors. Most importantly, it fits our space and needs while looking good.
