Hallowell Guardrail has been designed, engineered and manufactured to the highest industry standards using heavy gauge steel, and a unique integrated fastening system. This integrated system incorporates the fastening hardware as part of the column design so there will be no 'stripped' out connections. A properly installed and anchored guardrail system is designed to protect your personnel, property, and vital assets from a fully loaded forklift.
Each Hallowell Guardrail system is designed for your specific safety application. It is recommended to use 18" high for impact protection of facility assets including office in-plants, conveyor systems, mezzanines, shelving and racking systems. The use of the 42" double rail system is recommended when protecting and separating pedestrians and personnel from your material handling equipment. These areas include walkways, bathrooms, entry and exit points, electrical panels, break areas and exposed work stations.
Guardrail components have an industry approved, safety-yellow powdercoated finish. All guardrail sections are shipped with the required fasteners and other necessary hardware to properly install and anchor into your concrete floor.
General - Guardrail shall be "Hallowell Guardrail in. as manufactured by Hallowell or approved equal.
Finish - Shall be a durable powder coat finish. Color shall be Safety Yellow for high visibility.
Column Specifications - Columns shall be 9 gauge 5 in.x 5 in. steel tubes welded to 10 in.x10 in.x - in. thick base plate. Available in both 18 in. single rail and 42 in. double rail styles for protection of equipment or personnel.
