We bought this for our almost 6 month old boy (he's almost 20 lb) and went on vacation to the beach. The neck line made it easier to get on and off than the traditional crew neck rashguard shirts, especially since we were on the beach and there was sand everywhere, I could prevent his face from getting at all scratched by it when changing him.
